You're hot then you're cold...

The weather in New Jersey has been moody for the past few days. Just a few days ago it was snowing. Before that it was in the 70's.
I think that's why I got sick. I know it's a lame excuse for not posting the second video yet.
Maybe it wasn't the cold; Maybe a traveling germ jumped on me and got me. Got me good.

But I am still able and willing to report on the progress:
Still sticking to the same routine. Three meals a day and four days of light exercise.

Nights are the toughest. I eat one meal around seven PM but that one is big. I am eating desert after dinner. And sometimes even after lunch. -bad- Tonight I am not having desert!!!

Just the fact that I have stopped eating after seven PM is a feat. Snacking all through the night up to 11 pm sometimes even midnight was really bad. No more snacking!

One day next week I will try to skip one dinner. Ultimately I was to skip dinner 3-5 times a week. Valerie Bertinelli sure is an inspiration!

Cycles

WoW, It's working!

I am very exited to share my first week's results. I'm pretty sure that I have lost some weight even tough it may not be visible to everyone. I feel it when I get dressed and I see it on my face.
But you can be the judge when I post my second video.

So all I have been doing is eating three times a day, every day, always at the same time of the day.
Like three cycles.
I even have desert- right after I eat tough-so it's not a snack but part of the meal. I'm not eating anything special, not omitting any food groups. Just eating whatever I want as much as I want. Sounds good?
Well, the hard part is skipping the snacks I've gotten used to.

Yesterday was the hardest day because it was Sunday and I am used to snacking A LOT on weekends.
But I stuck to the routine and only cheated ONE time in one week. Not bad.
I figured I can make up for it by skipping dinner tonight! (maybe not)

The day after....

Got up at 6 this morning to go to the gym. I wasn't tired and the workout was OK.
The last time I worked out I went to a Bikram yoga class in New York.
Bikram is intense. It's an hour and a half of 24-poses in a heated room. (around 90 degrees)
But the crazy part was that I took my bike there.
It was a 30 minute ride (one way) then the 90 minute yoga and 30 minutes riding back home.
I almost died that day.
But that was over a month ago.

So all in all it was a great class. We did a 30 minute aerobics round and weights for 20 minutes.

More importantly I am sticking to my 2THINGS rule:
I'm eating 3 meals a day, every day, at the same time of the day (NO SNACKS)
AND
working out 3-5 days a week ;)

Cheers!

2THINGS

Hello St. Patrick! I always loved the luck of the Irish. I feel lucky all the time.
Today especially because I started this video blog. I guess I never had enough confidence before to do something like this. Who's going to care?

My reasons for doing this are simple:
#1 I am tired of looking old but feeling young!
#2 It's been 10 years of feeling heavy, tired and unhappy.

I have to admit that I love! junk food. Who doesn't? Well, actually I know one girl: Julie.
She says eating chips and snacks is recreational eating! Ha!
Good "old"Julie.

I tried to eat healthy but couldn't stick to it. I would eat fruits and salads and organic food for a few days but then go right back to my comfortable junk habit. It's time for me to feel uncomfortable for a change. It's good for you. Shake things up... So here I go. For the next 365 days I will be here reporting on my uncomfortable but hopefully life changing adventures.
